The folks behind Miso on Meramec are planning to open Araka, a restaurant and wine bar, in Clayton this October. The executive chef is Mark Curran, formerly of the Larkspur Restaurant in Vail, Colorado. According to Miso's announcement, Curran's menu will feature "Southern European-inspired" dishes drawing from the cuisines of Spain, France, Greece and Italy. I'll let you know more as I learn it.
