"Hmph! Enjoy your crêpe, son of a silly person."

Crpes are ethereally light, supple enough to pair with chocolate or cheese, fruit or meat, and delicious enough to eat plain. Yet — and this is a mark of how seriously the French take everything food-related — crêpes are still a street food. You buy them from vendors on the sidewalk or crêperies no bigger than an airport Starbucks kiosk.

Would those fickle French think Rooster a fitting home for their beloved crêpes? Read my thoughts on the new cafe downtown here.
