VIDEO: Mizzou Reveals Terrifying New Cheerleader

What in the "Black Mirror" hell is happening over at Mizzou? A new type of cheerleader took the field over the weekend for a halftime show and the video has us clutching our teddy bears and calling out for our mommies.

The terrifying Boston Dynamics robot joined the University of Missouri cheerleaders for a performance to “Dancing Machine,” which was a very clever choice of music for a very horrifying halftime show.

The robot is named Spot and is styled after a dog, which is probably meant to endear it to us but instead it just makes the robot eerily familiar in the worst, most stomach-churning way.

The “dog” did a series of dances very successfully, including moves that looked similar to the Wobble, the Dougie and the Running Man.

Now let’s hope we never have to see it dance again.

Are beautiful, agile young women in the prime of their lives not enough cheerleading entertainment for you people? Do we really need to bring robots that could easily kill us into sports now?

Kill it with fire, we say. This thing could easily take down Truman the Tiger. Not cool, Mizzou. Not cool at all.
