He's going through with it.

On Saturday, STL Up Late host Eric Christensen will take as his lawful wedded wife a St. Louis-style pizza — and no, the blushing bride is not a Square Beyond Compare from Imo's. Christensen will be united in (un)holy matrimony with a 4-meat pie from Dogtown Pizza.

Christensen had vowed to prove his St. Louis bonafides and wed the cracker-thin-crusted pie if locals ponied up $35,000 for the comedy show's Kickstarter. When St. Louis came through with the money, engagement photos were taken and invitations were emailed.

And now the date is finally here! We're told that Mister Gary of Them Yo People will be officiating the ceremony at 9:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Schlafly Beer Studio at The Marcelle Theater, 3310 Samuel Shepard Drive. You can join in the fun for just $15 if you buy your ticket in advance or $20 the day of the show, which is a lot less than you shelled out for bath towels and crockery at the last wedding you attended.

If you can't make it to the big event, STL Up Late is now on the air Saturdays at 2 a.m. at Channel 4.3, as well as streaming at stluplate.com

But there are benefits to attending in person — namely, free pizza for all. When's the last time you were at a wedding where the bride's relatives were passed around and everyone was encouraged to help themselves?
