On first thought the tale of the Sleeping Beauty might not seem like it would make for a very exciting ballet, what with all the snoozing and everything. But that's definitely not the case! Tchaikovsky's score is simply stunning, and the dancing — yes, there's plenty of it — is gorgeously graceful. The Russian National Ballet presents the story of a beautiful woman and a magical kiss at 8 p.m. at Lindenwood University's J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts (2300 West Clay Street).
