The Fleshly Pursuits

George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead may have been your first introduction to shambling, flesh-hungry zombies, but you never know what will be your last encounter with them. It just might be tonight in south city at the Koken Art Factory (2500 Ohio Avenue; www.kokenartfactory.com). At the Zombies Attack! Halloween party, held from 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. ($10), will the undead stumble your way and consume your flesh? Or will you outsmart them with your clever costume and your own slow stroll as you check out the multimedia art show? Perhaps dancing will shoo away the pesky zombies -- if that's the case, here's hoping that Stank Nasty, 33, 45, 78, and the other bands play all night and that the Exotic Rhythms Bellydance troupe flows with continual movement. Whatever the secret may be to keeping the zombies at bay in this day and age, we wish you well at this Halloween bash and sincerely hope this isn't the start of the zombie apocalypse. That could get really messy.
