The King & I

Apr 2, 2003 at 4:00 am
What's to like about the King & I? Well, let's start with the crazy, fruity drinks, with those zany names and punchy ingredients. (Beware the "fogcutter"!) You've got the spicy foods spotted throughout the menu -- made to the precise heat level you can (or can't) tolerate. And, simply, there's a wide variety of solid, thai specialties, like the restaurant's famed, signature pad thai. Popular with both lunch and dinner crowds, the restaurant's also got a nice, remodeled upstairs space for large groups and private parties, with fun, sunken seating. Needed, sometimes, after that last "fogcutter."
