The Force was with fans who attended Star Wars night at Busch Stadium on July 9, 2014. The second-annual event showcased music and characters from George Lucas' famous sci-fi franchise, and ticket holders took home a limited-edition St. Louis Cardinals shirt featuring R2-D2. Chewbacca threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Cards pitcher Tyler Lyons before the game, with Fredbird serving as the home-plate umpire. The Cardinals beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2.
