Santigold — née Santogold, née Santi White — first found fame with the Philly band, Stiffed, whose punkish new-wave was light-years ahead of its time. Her solo work isn't much different from her past tunes, besides being poppier, more polished, and much more indebted to two-tone ska and '80s femme fatales such as Missing Persons' Dale Bozzio and Berlin's Terri Nunn. MSTRKRFT's last appearance in St. Louis was a slightly disappointing DJ set at Dante's, but the duo's performance this time around is billed as a full-band excursion. Expect a harder dance-floor sound and more hip-hop flourishes (and fewer straightforward moments of electro laser tag), if this year's Fist of God is any indication. Also on the bill are hipster-electro tastemakers Trouble Andrew and Amanda Blank.
