When an indie-pop tripleheader as good as this one scoots into town, missing the gig is not an option. Headlining this Pitchfork dream-bill are emotive rockers Rogue Wave, whose 2005 album, Descended Like Vultures, contained '60s-inspired psych-rock shimmers (and put the kibosh on the Shins comparisons that once dogged them). Also be sure to show up early for openers Dirty On Purpose down a female vocalist but still swimming in Yo La Tengo atmospherics and ghostly '80s pop shivers and slo-core sad-sacks Sam Champion.
