Open-minded thinking and spiritual diversity are the cornerstones of the St. Louis Pagan Picnic, which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year with a rollicking round-up of live music (read: drum circles), entertainment, food and vendors in Tower Grove Park. The polytheistic party runs 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 10. The picnic's event schedule is divided into eight categories: earth, air, fire, water, spirit, ritual, bardic circle and rhythm village, and will include yoga and dance lessons (highland fling, ritual dance, "dancing the goddess within" and rhythm) as well as speakers, workshops and storytellers. The event is free and open to the public, though donations are encouraged. For more information, visit www.paganpicnic.org.
