Lip-Lickin’ in the Lou

The annual Taste of St. Louis promises to be quite an extravaganza. Spanning several downtown blocks (entrances to the Taste are located on Market Street at Eighth and Eleventh streets), this tasty event runs from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday (September 21 through 23). Thirty of St. Louis’ premier restaurants will be onsite, offering samples of their signature dishes -- for a small charge, of course (admission to the Taste is free). And local chefs will compete live in true Iron Chef-style. But that’s not all! The Taste wants to satisfy all of your other senses, too, with live music each evening, a kids’ area sponsored by Grant’s Farm, wares for purchase from talented local artists and much, much more. For all of the details (including a list of what not to bring with you), call 314-995-1202 or visit www.tastestl.com.
