Jams Run Free

Spring showed up early this year, jarring us out of a mulled wine and hearty soup-induced hibernation and providing plenty of reasons to go outside and play. If the atypically gorgeous weather and budding trees aren't enough to get you outside, Symphony Tuesdays at The Piper Palm House should do the trick. The free concerts, presented by the St. Louis Symphony, are held in the aesthetically and acoustically beautiful Piper Palm House (4526 Magnolia) in Tower Grove Park. The first performance, Rare Rep for Wind Quintet will kick off on Tuesday, April 10, and is free and open to the public (as are walks through lovely Tower Grove Park). No reservations will be taken and seating is limited, so it’s on a first-come, first-served basis. Light refreshments will be served following the performance.
