"The least, I would say politicians. The most trusted are the ones who chose their career because they like the work and hope to help others and obviously are not in it for the money, like social workers and teachers. Some teachers, they seem like they don't like kids -- not those teachers. I'm talking about the good teachers."

Tom Filter
Social Worker, State of Missouri

"Bartenders. Of all the professions, they give you what you ask for -- and sometimes a little more. The least trusted are car dealers. Sales is the absolute bottom line, and there's very little ethics involved. As a matter of fact, if you're a car dealer and you have ethics, that's considered a drawback."

P.J. Baumeister
General Manager, Certified Power

"Stereotypically, I trust the priest the most and the opposing lawyer the least."

Justin "Kamma" Maginn

"Trash men have loads of integrity, even though people look down on them. They're out there every day, getting it done. I love the trash men. I even make my trash nice and neat for them. Least trusted are door-to-door salesmen or telemarketers -- same thing. They will do anything and say anything just so you won't hang up or slam the door in their face."

Kim Reeves
Operator, Quality Laundry & Cleaners

"You know what? I don't trust anybody in any profession. I used to, but I cannot anymore, because people will rip you off if they get the chance. Last week, the car went in a ditch and had to be towed. I ask the garage, 'How much?' They say $91, but when we went to pick the car up, it was $121. They call it a 'storage fee,' something like that. But that's the first I hear about this secret fee. So how can you trust? You have to do business with people, you better be on guard."

John Luechtefeld
Owner, Babe's Tavern

"I'll tell you, I think lawyers, as a group, are the shiftiest, low-down sons of bitches on the face of the earth. The most trusted are airline pilots. They definitely know what they're doing, and their interest is the same as mine. Plus, God is their co-pilot. That's a little added insurance."
